The Sunflower Fund celebrating our conquerors
The Sunflower Fund is dedicating the month of September to our Sunflower Day campaign which is aimed at saluting donors, survivors and patients currently facing life-threatening blood diseases. We raise awareness through a national communication and marketing campaign valued R50 million. Key events and three public blood stem cell donor drives will be held. We target is to recruit 300 donors.
The campaign is anchored by the sale of a product called The Tube of Hope (TOPE) and the messaging on the TOPE is inspired with Be the Hope in five different local languages. An event, in collaboration with a local primary school, will be held to say #thankyoudonor on 14 September. #wmdd
