“Donate a chance to life!” Campaign in Bucharest, Romania
In Bucharest, the “Donate a chance at life” Campaign will be organized from 13 to 16 September 2018 in the George Enescu Square, in partnership with the Medical Division of the Bucharest City Hall.
On the evening of September 15, the Athenaeum, an emblematic building for the Romanian culture, build by public subscription, will be video-mapped for the celebration of the World Marrow Donor Day. The event aims at increasing the awareness on the importance of the active involvement in reaching a new target of 100 000 registered donors. The video-mapping will start at 21:00 and will last for approximately 10 minutes telling a story about the patient’s hope for a new chance to life, made possible through the generosity of the stem cell donors.
On September 17th a press conference will be organized. With this occasion will be launched the campaign for online registration in the Registry and will be announced the celebration of the World Marrow Donor Day. Media partners are the public television and Radio Romania.
