September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month and 15th September is World Marrow Donor Day. Jeevandayini Social Foundation & Dr OP Bhalla Foundation associate itself to World Marrow Donor Day with a Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Donor Awareness & Registration Drive on 12th Sept’2018 in technical collaboration with Gene Bandhu Blood Stem Cell Donor Registry. Nearly 1000 students from Manav Rachna Education Institution with over 100 volunteers from Jeevandayini would be participating in the campaign.

It is an awareness campaign to encourage more people to register as potential Marrow & Stem Cell Donors. We seek to enlighten people about the importance of Stem Cell Transplants to treat a wide range of blood disorders including Leukaemia, Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Aplastic Anaemia and Sickle Cell Anaemia.

Over the course of the day we will deliberate the facts concerning Stem Cell Donation & Bone Marrow Transplant to mitigate the myths and embrace the positives.
