South Africa, we need your help. While COVID-19 seems to be the word on everyone’s lips the last few months, Leukaemia continues to tear families apart.
Right now, there is a 35-year-old female and a 6-year old boy awaiting their life-saving stem cell transplants who cannot afford it, and they’re praying for a miracle.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re not able to have physical fundraising events. The funds we raise through these events greatly contribute to the work we do through the Patient Assistance Programme, where we provide financial assistance for patients who cannot afford the cost of finding a suitable donor. https://www.backabuddy.co.za/champion/project/sabmr-2020
