Covid-19 has made everything more difficult for transplant centers around the globe. Save the Cord Foundation wishes to thank all of the bone marrow and cord blood donors who have helped so many patients in need during these highly challenging times. Your generosity has literally given life to others! In particular, we wish to thank those parents who have donated their child’s cord blood to the Arizona Public Cord Blood program. As the majority of units available through this program were stored prior to Covid-19 (and thus Covid free), many doctors are turning to this program in search of cord blood for urgent stem cell transplants.

For WMDD 2020, we will be thanking all donors to the Arizona Public Cord Blood program, past, present and future, for making the choice to donate their child’s cord blood. We will also be thanking all bone marrow donors who have fought the odds to donate bone marrow stem cells via various public registries during the Covid-19 crisis. Please know that we are PROUD of you and those you helped will NEVER FORGET how you gave them a second chance at life. Thank you.
