4 years ago, Ezer Mizion reached out to Doron, a perfect match for a stem cell transplant for Kim. Doron jumped at the opportunity to help another person. A year and a half after Doron had donated his stem cells, he received a letter from Kim, the woman who’s life he had saved.
Kim wanted to meet Doron to thank him personally for all that he has done for her.
There was one hitch, Kim lived in New Jersey and travelling was a challenge for her.
Geography did not stop Doron! He and his wife, Shirel, flew to the United States to meet Kim.
“It was an unforgettable and emotional meeting for both of us” said Doron and Kim.
