On the 3rd September of 2015 the first World Marrow Donor Day (WMDD) was organised on the occasion of the milestone of reaching 25 million volunteer stem cell and bone marrow donors in Bone Marrow Donors Worldwide (BMDW). This first year, 45 organisations participated in 34 countries!
The winners of this year are:
- Grand prize: Gift of Life (GOL), United States of America
- Incentive prize: Thai Stem Cell Donor Registry (TSCDR), Thailand
- Creative prize: Don de Moelle oseusse, France
